2014 National Nondestructive Pile Inspection Training Class is held in Wuhan from April 17 to 21. The class is jointly organized by IRSM, Sinorock Technology and Hubei Nondestructive Testing Society.

More than 180 workers are present at the training class, including testing workers, managers from testing companies, teachers from universities, and staff from supervision organizations. Leaders, scientists and advisors from IRSM and Sinorock Technology attend the opening ceremony; they express warm welcome to representatives at the training class.

Researcher LIU Minggui gives a comprehensive introduction to nondestructive testing methods in rock and soil engineering. Technicians including Dr. YANG Yongbo give a lecture on theories, equipments and site testing of different testing methods. The training class includes theories of pile inspection, and site instruction of high strain dynamic testing. Trainees could have a comprehensive understanding of the theories and apply them to operations.
