Recently, the project establishment of building Solid Waste Safe Disposal and Ecological Higher Value Engineering Research Center, which is applied by IRSM, Wuhan, is approved.

Engineering Research Center of Hubei Province is an important part of provincial technology innovation system. The construction of the engineering center aims to take fully advantage of scientific education of Hubei province, accelerate scientific and technological achievement transformation, as well as reinforce industrial technology innovation ability and market competitiveness of Hubei province.

The construction of the Engineering Research Center will be jointly operated by IRSM and cooperative companies of solid waste disposal. The center will set base in Hubei and face the country, break through subject integration, penetration and combination to build distinctive and professional engineering laboratory of solid waste disposal and utilization.
