August 18, IRSM(Wuhan) organizes the acceptance of its energy and waste underground storage experiment building, inviting delegates from Wuhan Design and Engineering Co., Ltd of Light Industry China, Hubei Xintiandi Construction Management Co., Ltd, Wuhan Geotechnical Engineering Center, CAS, Wuhan Zhenfa Construction Project Co., Ltd, Hubei Xinrui Mechanical and Electric Equipment Co., Ltd, Construction Project Quality Administration Department of Wuchang District.  After on-site check, checking relevant material, organizing special meeting, all the delegates agree that this project is in accord with final acceptance standard. Wang Daguo, Party Secretary and vice director of IRSM and head of relevant departments have attended the acceptance meeting. 

Energy and waste underground storage experiment building is designed by Wuhan Design and Engineering Co., Ltd of Light Industry China, managed by Hubei Xintiandi Construction Management Co., Ltd and constructed by Wuhan Zhenfa Construction Project Co., Ltd. The project is located in Xiao Hong Shan, Wuchang District, Wuhan, with the height of 21.7m. The project is constructed from June 18, 2010 to August 18, 2011.

The project meet exact requirements of the district, Wuhan city and Hubei province, it is completed with the guidance of Construction Administration Department of Wuchang District and close coordination of design, administration and construction partners. The completion of energy and waste underground storage experiment building improve the working environment of IRSM effectively, promote function of the experiment building, and lays good base for scientific research on oil underground storage, nuclear waste disposal and geology seal of CO2.
