The second working conference of Technical Regulation of Surface Deformation Monitoring in Geological Hazard is held in Taiyuan from August 4 to 5. The conference is organized by Shanxi Tianli Litres of Surveying and Mapping Engineering Co.,LTD. More than 20 members from compilation group are present at the conference. Researcher CHEN Shanxiong from IRSM hosts the working conference.

CHEN summarizes the previous compilation work of Regulation, and introduces the investigation and monographic study. Members of compilation group have a lively discussion on the draft of Regulation; through deep analysis of specific problems including monitoring classification, monitoring method and monitoring warning, the compilation group makes plans for the work in the next step.

In his summary speech, CHEN points out that there is a lot of work to do in limited time; members of the compilation group should rush to finish the Regulation compilation according to suggestions and work arrangement.
