Program Physical Simulation System for Dynamic Disaster in Tunnels and Deep Roadway proposed by researcher ZHOU Hui from IRSM wins support from National Research Fund for Major Scientific Research Instrument of National Natural Science Fund of China, the program wins fund of 6.6 million.
With the further development of infrastructure instruction and resource exploitation, there will be more deep roadway and tunnel projects. Dynamic Disasters including rock burst is becoming the key bottleneck problem in safe instruction of deep roadway and tunnel projects. The program aims to develop a new physical simulation system for dynamic disasters in tunnels and deep roadways, using typical rock burst disaster as research object. To simulate the key influencing factors of rock burst in tunnels, the system is divided into five parts, including similar material model, loading system, excavation system, supporting system, monitoring and testing system. Using research methods including mechanics testing, theory analysis, numerical simulation and optimization analysis, the program aims to solve key theory and technology problems in physical simulation of rock burst in tunnels and deep roadway. The test system developed in the program has great theoretic and practical value in revealing the formation mechanism and evolving law of dynamic disaster in rock burst in tunnels and deep roadway. It also has great scientific significance in rock and soil mechanics subject development and construction of major experiment platform.
