According to the notice from Ministry of Science and Technology, researcher YANG Chunhe from IRSM is appointed as Deputy Supervisor of the 4th 973 Experts Advisory Group. This is the first time that scientists from IRSM have been employed as expert in 973 Plan Advisory Group.

The experts advisory group of the 4th 973 Plan consists of 133 experts from 9 fields, including agricultural science, energy science, information science, resource environment science, health science, material science, manufacture and engineering science, interdisciplinary science and major science frontier. 7 experts from Hubei province are employed as members of 973 Plan Experts Advisory Group. They come from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Huazhong Agricultural University, Institute of Rock and Soil Mechanics, Central China Normal University, and China University of Geosciences (Wuhan).

Doctor YANG Chunhe was born in 1962, he is now a researcher in IRSM, CAS. He has long been engaged in research on technology and theory of solution mining subsidence of rock salt and oil gas underground storage project. YANG is one of the domestic pioneers in rock salt mechanics and underground storage engineering field.

　　YANG Chunhe won 4 Second Prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award, and 4 First Prize of Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award. He has published more than 260 papers and 3 books, more than 200 papers are cited by SCI/EI. 11 of the patents he applied were authorized.
