2013 Annual Project Summing-up Meeting of Strong Expensive Rock and Soil Channel Treatment Technology is held in Wuhan from April 16 to 17. The project is one of the 12th Five-year Period National Science and Technology Support Plan projects. More than 20 directors and main research members from IRSM, Changjiang Institute of Survey, Planning, Design and Research, Hohai University and other institutes are present at the meeting. The meeting is hosted by researcher CHEN Shanxiong from IRSM as the person in charge of the project.

Directors of different topics give detailed reports on work and achievements in 2013, working plan of the next step and expected target. The project group then analyze probable problems in use of funds in detail. Researcher CHEN Shanxiong sums up the general implementation condition after the report, he fully affirms the achievements at this stage and points out some problems in project implementation and finance. At the end of the meeting, participants fully discuss preparation work, defects and solutions of project accomplishment.

The annual summing-up meeting strengthens communication and cooperation between project participants, finds out problems in project implementation, and decides the working direction and key points of next step.
