On Nov 6th, the founding meeting of Strategic Alliance of CCUS Industrial Technology Innovation is held in Beijing. Representatives from relevant departments are present at the meeting, including China Huaneng Group, CNPC, SINOPEC, China Guodian, Tsinghua University, Peking University, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, IRSM, Institute of Engineering Thermophysics; Social Development Technology Department, International Cooperation Department and Innovation Department of Ministry of Science and Technology.

The meeting is hosted by ZHAO Yi from China Huaneng Group, General Secretary XU Shisen reads out alliance regulation notes and annual work plan. YUAN Shiyi from CNPC and leaders from other groups give reports on the meeting. Researcher LI Xiaochun from IRSM makes a speech as the representative of institutes.

China Huaneng Group, CNPC, SINOPEC and China Guodian are selected as director units of the strategic alliance. The first director unit is China Huaneng Group, vice general manager HU Jianmin from Huaneng Group is selected as the first director of the strategic alliance; XU Shisen from Huaneng Group is selected as the first general secretary of the strategic alliance. In addition, the alliance experts group member list is determined, academician FEI Weiyang from Tsinghua University is selected as the leader of experts group.

Participants put forward positive suggestions to the future development of the strategic alliance. All the alliance members are required to take advantage and cooperate with each other to contribute to the energy saving of China.
