On March 26, experts from the Ministry of Science and Technology of China are organized in an examination of the project from Institute of Rock and Soil Mechanics (IRSM). The National Key Technology Research and Development Program during the 12th Five-Year Plan is jointly organized by IRSM and Huainan Mining Industry (Group) Co.,Ltd. The project title is Research on Detection and Analysis System for Deep Surrounding Rock Structure in Coal Mine and Stress Field.
The project is based on the needs of stability analysis and control of deep tunnel surrounding rock in coal mine, focusing on the characteristics of high ground stress and soft rock body in deep surrounding rock. The target of the project includes the detection of deep surrounding rock structure and ground stress field, and the monitoring of the evolving process. The project focuses on the research and development of testing hardware, analyzing method and software. Currently, the project has finished the research on explosion proof optical hardware of panoramic camera, the development of testing probe and main engine for cross-hole acoustic transmission method. The development of ground stress testing instrument for flow stress restoration method is also completed. The testing instrument sample gets national safe explosion proof certificate for coal mine.
Experts listen to the implementation report of the project and check the test of the instrument sample in the laboratory. They all agree that the project has fulfilled target tasks ahead of time. The flow stress restoration method in this project fills the gap in the testing field of surrounding rock ground stress in deep coal mine tunnel. The drilling panoramic imaging is suitable for the detection of the fine structure inside rock mass. The cross-hole acoustic method expands the application of acoustic detection in coal mine tunnel. Experts believe that the equipments are with great application prospect; they hope that the equipments would be promoted in application soon.
