Chen Bingrui from IRSM(Wuhan) Subsidized by Visiting Scholar Project of 2011 K. C. Wong Education Foundation, CAS

Recently, vice researcher Chen Bingrui from IRSM(Wuhan) win 2011 Resource and Environment Talent Special-Visiting Scholar Project Subsidy of K.C. Wang Education Foundation, CAS. Only 5 talents are subsidized in resource and environment system. Vice Researcher Chen Bingrui will go for a 6 month study in The University of Western Australia.

Doctor Chen Bingrui, born in 1976, works in our institute after getting his Ph. D. Of Engineering Mechanics in Resouce and Civil Engineering School of Dongbei University. He has participated in many research programs, including 1 National Natural Science Foundation Program, 1 National High-tech R&D Program of China(863 Program), 1 Hubei Provincial Natural Science Foundation Program, National Key Laboratory Open Foundation Program of Geotechnical Engineering. In 2008, Geotechnical Intellectual Responding Analysis Method and Engineering Application partly contributed by Chen won the first prize of Hubei Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award, the project also won the second prize of 2010 National Science and Technology Progress Award. In recent years, Chen Bingrui has published approximately 40 theses on academy magazine of home and abroad, he also owns 4 national invention patent and 1 software registration.

Resource and Environment Talent Special Fund of K. C. Wang Education Foundation, CAS aims to reinforce cultivation of young talents in resource and environment field of our institute, provide them opportunities to do further study abroad, contact with the world leading edge of science and technology, bring in leading scientific though and develop new subject field. The Fund is mainly used to subsidize further study abroad of young technology talents specialize in resource and environment research in IRSM. The applicants should be research and technological talents no older than 35, with professional technological position no lower than vice senior. The target study place should be high level overseas research institutes and famous universities that have close scientific research cooperation with applicant or his institute. The overseas study period is 6 months in the project.
