According to the decision of Organizing Committee of the 13th National Conference of Rock Mechanics and Engineering and Editorial Department of Chinese Journal of Rock Mechanics and Engineering, professors from universities and IRSM are organized as experts group to have peer review of academic papers from the national conference. Peer review is done at IRSM on April 19. Researcher FENG Xiating, President of ISRM, puts forward specific suggestions to the peer review.

The organizing committee submit 135 papers to the editorial department, after passing the first review, papers are submit to the peer review conference. 32 outstanding papers are selected to be published on the journal and supplement of Chinese Journal of Rock Mechanics and Engineering.

The 13th National Conference of Rock Mechanics and Engineering is hosted by Chinese Society of Rock Mechanics and Engineering; Shanxi Society of Rock Mechanics and Engineering, Datong Coal Mine Group and Taiyuan University of Technology coordinate as organizers of the conference. By focusing on rock mechanics theory and rock engineering construction problems in civil engineering field, energy engineering field and geological earthquake engineering field, the conference provides opportunities and communication platform to new research achievements in these fields.
