Railway Passenger Special Line Settlement and Deformation Assessing Technology and Its Engineering Application Passing Appraisal

On April 8, Railway Passenger Special Line Settlement and Deformation Assessing Technology and Its Engineering Application, jointed accomplished by IRMS(Wuhan), CAS, Wu-Guang Railway Passenger Special Line Co., Ltd, China Railway Siyuan Survey And Design Group Co.,LTD, passes scientific and technological achievement appraisal. The appraise meeting is organized by China Hubei Provincial Science and Technology Department, the appraising committee consists of 8 experts.

Wu-Guang high-Speed Railway is the important part of Jing-Guang high-speed railway listed in National Railway Network Plan, the construction started in June 2005. The railway runs cross Hubei, Hunan and Guangdong province, with the operation mileage of 1069km, the line has great significance to the transformation from traditional labor-intensive industry to modern capital-intensive industry, economic structure complementary of provinces in Pan-Pearl River Delta area, improvement of regional economy coordination and promotion of China social resource saving and environment protection. 

The program bases on Wu-Guang Railway Passenger Special Line Program, discusses on reasonable method suitable for high-speed railway settlement and deformation prediction. It has developed Integrated System of High-Speed Railway Settlement Observation Data Management and Analysis Prediction. The program also researches into reasonable control of settlement deformation analysis assessing index and determination standard, managing mode and operation mechanism of high-speed railway settlement and deformation analysis assessing, providing technology support to Wu-Guang railway passenger special line settlement and deformation observation analysis assessing. The research achievement is applicated in Wu-Guang passenger special line successfully, obtaining significant economic and social effect. After discussion in appraising committee, experts come to the agreement that the research achievement of this program has important theoretical significance and good application prospect, the achievement is reaching international advanced level generally.

Settlement and deformation observation analysis assessing is the master switch of unballasted track laying, the key of ensuring unballasted track structural laying quality of passenger special line. With the promoting of high-speed railway construction process, high-speed railway construction is requesting more on settlement and deformation observation analysis assessing, the program achievement will keep on playing important role in programs like high-speed railway construction, by saving a large amount of program fund, the achievement will produce significant economic effect continuously.
