Founded in 1999, and renamed in 2003. With a strong background for engineering application research, Hubei Geo-environmental Engineering Key Laboratory is a high-tech innovation research division of IRSM, CAS. The major objective of this laboratory is to develop the techniques of underground and slope works for major infrastructures, new techniques for informational construction, intelligent design and video treatment of geotechnical works and methods for stability assessment of geotechnical works.
