As a national laboratory，the State Key Laboratory of Geomechanics and Geotechnical Engineering (SKlGGE) is making full efforts to solve key issues in the large-scale engineering constructions. Focusing on the basic research in Geomechanics and Geotechnical Engineering, SKlGGE pursues research in the following directions: computational and intelligent rock mechanics, environmental rock mechanics, and mechanics of problematic soils.
