According to the notice from NSFC, the program Research on Mechanical Mechanism of Landslide Induced by Environmental and Engineering Factors in Yunnan wins supporting fund of 2 million yuan from Joint Fund of NSFC and Government of Yunnan Province.

The program is based on landslide research achievements and highway projects in Yunnan province. Through multi-subject integration, researchers put forward mechanical mode of environmental load and landslide classification method based on multi-factor coupling. The program also develops numerical simulation method of landslide deformation and destruction under the multi-factor coupling effect; analyzes geological structure of landslide deformation and failure; constructs evolution equation of landslide deformation and stress. The research of this program helps to increase the research level of landslide instability mechanism and precaution.
