On Dec 13 and 14, The verification experts from Hubei Branch of China Quality Certification Centre arrived IRSM to start the recertification and verification of ISO9001 international quality management system operation. After the verification in two days, IRSM pass the recertification verification of ISO9001 (2008 version) successfully.

At 8:30am on Dec 13, the first meeting is held in room 201 in the Science & Research Building. The meeting is hosted by the verification group leader WANG Bing, who is the national registered auditor. Heads including Director LI Haibo; WANG Daguo, Secretary of the Party Committee; SHENG Qian, Deputy Director of IRSM; and LU Kaiyang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee are all present at the meeting. WANG Bing reads out the verification purpose, principle, method and  plan, he promises to keep the confidentiality of the verification. Director LI Haibo hopes that the recertification verification could thoroughly check the quality management system, and promote the quality management of IRSM. Director LI requires all the departments to coordinate positively in the verification.

According to the requests of ISO9001 Quality Management System, the verification experts have careful and comprehensive review on every step of the workflow through sampling inspections. The last meeting is held in the morning on Dec 14, the verification group announces that all the experts in the group agree that the quality management system of IRSM works well,  the system has a standard operation flow and the ability of self-improvement. Experts from the verification group also give some relevant suggestions to the quality management of IRSM. Director LI Haibo gives thanks to the hard work of the verification group, he points out that the quality management system of IRSM still have some deficiencies, he hopes that the verification could help to find out problems and solve them, so that the quality management system will be improved to be fit for the social development and meet the increasing new needs from customers.

At last, the leader of verification expert group announces that IRSM passes the recertification verification of ISO9001 (2008 version) Quality Management System successfully, he will recommend CQC to have the recertification of ISO9001(2008 version). Wuhan Zhongke Rock and Soil Mechanics Co., Ltd, Wuhan Zhongli Rock and Soil Mechanics Co., Ltd., Wuhan Zhongke Kechuang Engineering Test Co., Ltd will get certificates corresponding to their current business.

The pass of ISO9001 recertification marks that the management level of IRSM is stepping into a new stage, it is establishing a solid foundation for the leapfrog development of science and research achievements of IRSM.
