Recently, winner list of 2010 K. C. Wong Scientific Research Foundation is unveiled, Doctor Ma Guowei from Civil and Environment Engineering School of Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, who is cooperating with IRSM, wins the foundation program award and supports from the program.
　　　
Ma Guowei is specialized in research of dynamic characteristics of various materials, he won doctor's degree in Nanyang Technological University, Singapore and Iwate University, he has been cooperating with IRSM in scientific research and talent cultivation for many years.
Doctor Ma will hold 2 to 3 academic reporting meeting this time, he is going to discuss and cooperate with peers from IRSM on manifold method development and application, rock mechanics developing direction and rock mechanics calculation developing direction, through the cooperation on this program, both sides have obtained some research achievements on rock mechanics and discontinuous numerical calculation.
