On July 18, the establishment ceremony of R&D Base of Polluted Soil Treatment and Recycling Technology is held in Yichang, Hubei Province. The R&D Base is jointly built by Institute of Rock and Soil Mechanics, Chinese Academy of Sciences(IRSM) and Black Whirlwind Engineering Machinery Development Co.,Ltd. The establishment ceremony is hosted by Manager ZHANG Min from Black Whirlwind Engineering Machinery Development. Director LI Haibo from IRSM and Director TANG Qingming from Black Whirlwind sign the Co-Construction Agreement. Deputy Director ZHOU from Yichang Administration Committee of High Technology Development Zone, and other local leaders are present at the ceremony.

The two parties aim to accelerate national and local economy development. Basing on mutual benefit, long-term stability and complementary advantages, they will establish strategic cooperation relationship with mutual development. The co-construction is expected to promote the transfer from technology achievements to productivity, and improve the ability of independent innovation.

Based on the technology advantages of IRSM, the capital, equipment manufacture and market development ability of Black Whirlwind, the co-construction will take full advantage of their unique roles in scientific research, application technology development and engineering application. IRSM and Black Whirlwind will develop extensive and deep cooperation on major science research, engineering design, technology research and development, as well as project construction and implementation, technology consultation, talent cultivation and international strategy
