On Feb 3rd, Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of the People's Republic of China (MOHURD) gave a letter to IRSM, to thanked team which was lead by Researcher Xue Qiang, that provided the scientific basis and the key parameters to analyse and confirm the causes of landslides disaster, and sucessfully finished this research task.

To be authorized by 12.20 large landslides disaster investigation team, IRSM Researcher Xue Qiang is invited as an expert of technology group, responsible for the task of in-situ test of large landslides disaster emergency.

IRSM pays high attention to this emergency, personally deploys and coordinates field test, sets up a 10-people work group which is led by researcher Xue Qiang, urgently moves geotechnical engineering testing equipments from Xiamen, Xiangfan and Wenzhou, including 9 sets of international advanced testing equipments. Work team carries out the in-situ of landslide disaster geotechnical parameters, quickly gets over mud residue in different levels, and different profile engineering characteristics key parameter values.

On Jan 6th, 2016, work group submits two accident investigation reports to the accident investigation team, the in-situ detection technology report and geotechnical parameters in-situ test report, investigation team adopts the conclusions that rich water, weak strength, low pressure and high water cut.
