The 6th Workshop of CERC Held in Wuhan

The 6th Workshop of Clean Energy Research Center (CERC) is held in IRSM from May 4 to May 10. Experts from Wyoming Geological Survey, University of Wyoming, Indiana Geological Survey, Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory and other universities and institutions are invited to attend the workshop.

The workshop focuses on academic activities related to Symposium of Evaluation and Application of Geological Modeling and CO2 Resource in Ordos Basin and Illinois Basin. Institutions from China and the United States show research progress and initial achievements in cooperation projects. Experts develop academic exchange on geological model of CO2 geological storage, and feasibility research method of CO2 geological storage.

At the end of the workshop, experts make overall plan about the research task and research institutions of the 3rd Project of CERC, laying the foundation for further international cooperation of CERC. Researchers from CO2 geological storage project team of IRSM and representatives from the United States are present at the workshop.
