From Jun 9th to 11th, Dr. Student LI Xiayin from IRSM attend LowPerm2015 conference in Rueil-Malmasion, France, which is held by IFPEN (IFP Energies nouvelles). The theme of this conference is Low Permeability Media and Nanoporous Materials from Characterisation to Modeling: Can We Do It Better? Conference focuses on this theme to conduct discussion and exchange ideas.

In this conference, LI Xiayin gives an academic report with the title Characterisation of Hydraulic Fracturing in Low Permeability Sandstone from Sichuan Basin, China, and introduces the experiment equipments, experiment design, applicable fields and the latest research achievements and progress. Attending this conference expends the team international influence, helps seizing international scientific research of LowPerm, further deepening mutual international cooperation.

In addition, LI Xiayin as the deputy of tutor Researcher LI Qi, introduces Journal of Rock Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering, which is held by Chinese Society for Rock Mechanics and Engineering, and brings some magazine samples, welcomes experts to contribute and subscribe.
