In the afternoon of March 26, CO2 geotechnical storage group(IRSM) organizes the First Storage Group Work Meeting of CCUS Technology Development Roadmap. The meeting invites about 20 professional scholars from The Administrative Center for China's Agenda 21, Wuhan Branch of National Science Library, CAS, research institutes, universities and enterprises, they jointly discuss about compiling of CCUS technology development roadmap report.

Currently, international authorized energy resource institutes such as IEA and main global CCS management institute such as GCCSI and CSLF, have all released CCS technology roadmap. Although suggestions proposed by each institute are different, they have the same target to enhance global CCS technology development and planning.

In the meeting, experts from Wuhan Branch of National Science Library, CAS fully introduce and explain current CO2 capture and storage technology roadmap all over the world first, followed by illustration of Though about Content and Format of Storage Related Chapter in CCUS Technology Development Roadmap in China from Researcher Li Xiaochun, experts at present enthusiastically discuss about the topics. Experts focus more on the illustration form of roadmap related chapter content, task division and stage target. Topics of Carbon capture, utilization, transport, storage, ecological monitoring of safety and environment, definition and list of domestic model engineering project, policy environment of CCUS technology development roadmap are also discussed in the meeting, the operation program of storage part of roadmap is generally decided, while further interaction and discussion about report compiling details are still needed.
