Nonlinear and Discontinuous Failure Mechanism and Simulation Method of Rock Mass Supported by Distinguished Young Scholar Science Fund

Recently, the program Nonlinear and Discontinuous Failure Mechanismand Simulation Method of Rock Mass proposed by researcher PAN Pengzhi is supported by Distinguished Young Scholar Science Fund with 1 million Yuan.

Researcher PAN has long been engaged in research on nonlinear and discontinuous failure mechanism and simulation method of rock mass, he establishes elastoplastic cellular automata simulation method of heterogeneous rock failure process, puts forward creep model of anisotropic and local deterioration model, and release rock class I and II deformation, intermediate principal stress effect and mechanical mechanism. Pan also put forward simulation method of natural fracture structure and water flow, which is applied to international cooperation project DECOVALEX, and the BMT research on coupled THM processes in excavation zone. By establishing cellular automata simulation method of rock continuous and discontinuous deformation and failure process, Pan puts forward continuous and discontinuous failure process simulation method. PAN has published 13 SCI essays, 38 EI and ISTP essays, and 1 book; he gets 3 software copyrights as well. PAN also participated in the compiling of EDZ guide documents edited by JA Hudson. PAN wins LU JIAXI Young Talent Award of CAS.
