Expert Daniel Champlon and Isabelle Morelon from International Affairs Division of IFP, Technology Specialist Marc Bondiou and Assistant LI Shanshan from Consulate General of France in Wuhan visits IRSM on July 11.

Researcher LI Xiaochun, leader of CO2 Geological Storage Team hosts the symposium and gives a brief introduction to IRSM. Researchers from IRSM are present at the conference. LI introduces work of IRSM in CCS field, including establishment of CO2 emission source database; saline water layer of main basins in China; CO2-EOR; storage potential evaluation of ECBM; and rock mechanics stability. Expert Daniel Champlon and Isabelle Morelon from IFP introduce the basic information of IFP and their research work then.
